Mrs. Marshall was born in Tampa, FL and grew up in Savannah, GA. She attended nursing school at University Hospital in Augusta, GA. After graduating from nursing school she worked for Charity Hospital in Savannah and Clara Frye in Tampa. Mrs. Marshall then became a public health nurse with Chatham County Health Department.
